After the Carlos Carrasco injury, the Indians bullpen pitches ten shutout inning as Cleveland walks off with an extra-inning, 1-0 win over Detroit. That reduces Cleveland’s magic number to seven. Eight relievers for Cleveland recorded all 30 outs, Cody Anderson and Andrew Miller recording two innings each, Miller pitching the final two frames for the win. The pen allowed three hits and three walks, while striking out 10. Justin Verlander pitched seven scoreless inning for Detroit, but it wasn’t enough as Justin Wilson walked three and gave up the game-winning hit to Jose Ramirez in the 10th. With the 1 for 4 day, Ramirez is now hitting .310/.361/.454 on the season.
