Comeback Tribe

The Indians come back twice against the Marlins to walk off with a 6-5 win. Down 2-0 in the seventh after a six inning shutout by Tom Koehler, the Indians scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh, Jason Kipnis getting the big two-out, two-run single to put the Tribe ahead. J.T. Realmuto led off the eighth with a home run to tie. Ichiro Suzuki doubled home the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth, and the Marlins added an insurance run for Fernando Rodney. Rodney walked three, however, which led to a game tying Jose Ramirez single, and a game winning Lonnie Chisenhall single just out of the reach of Ichiro. The win allowed the Indians to maintain their lead on the Tigers, who also won 6-4, beating the Royals. Cleveland won six in a row and leads the AL Central by five games.

The Indians came into the game with just two walk off wins, tied with the Brewers for fewest in the majors. The Brewers stand alone in that category now.
