The Braves beat the Nationals 8-5 on Friday night, and Stephen Strasbrug and Max Scherzer had words after Strasburg came out of the game:
The dispute occurred after Strasburg (6-7), activated from the 10-day disabled list earlier in the day and throwing on his 30th birthday, gave up six runs and eight hits in 4 2/3 innings. He walked into the dugout, got a pat on the back from Scherzer and sat down on the bench. They began barking at each other, then both quickly went off-camera by leaving the dugout.

Dave Martinez took the two of them aside after the game:
Davey: "We had a really good conversation. I'll just say that. It was addressed. Look, they're very competitive. Everybody is. I'm glad we talked. It's over. Let's move forward. These guys are professionals. We're good. I'm good that we had the conversation."

Things keep getting bleaker for the Nationals. Meanwhile, the Braves stay in a hot race for the NL East, as they keep pace with the Phillies. They beat the Padres 11-5.
