The hot Tampa Bay Rays send Tyler Glasnow to the mound in San Francisco against Dereck Rodriguez. Glasnow improved his K/BB since moving to the Rays. He posted a 1.67 K/BB with the Pirates, 3.40 K/BB with the Rays. Rodriguez in his brief career has been tough with men on base, allowing opponents a .203/.271/.302 slash line.
Oakland send Frankie Montas against division rival Houston and Collin McHugh. Montas pitched well in his first start of the season, walking none and strikeout out six Angels in six innings. McHugh lasted just five innings in his start, but he struck out nine.
