The Cubs are sending Kyle Schwarber back to AAA, although it seems to have as much to do with roster reconstruction due to injuries as Schwarber’s struggles at the plate. He hits well in the ninth slot as a secondary leadoff man, so as long as they don’t mind batting the pitcher eighth, Schwarber should be fine at the bottom of the order.
