The Nationals lead the Marlins 1-0 at the stretch as Max Scherzer is once again working on a no-hitter. Though six innings he walked a batter and hit a batter, while striking out nine. He also singled, giving him more hits on the day than the entire Miami team.
Update: The Marlins go down 1-2-3 in the seventh, and Scherzer records his tenth strikeout. He’s thrown 98 pitches, 69 for strikes.
