Gary Sanchez and Aaron Judge each hit two home runs for the Yankees against the Rangers on Sunday afternoon, helping the Yankees to a 16-7 win over the Rangers. Sanchez reached the 30 home run plateau, and Judge became the second rookie ever to crack 40 home runs. They have now combined for 71 homers. That’s a pretty good pairing.
By the way, Musings Marcels had Sanchez with a .286/.359/.554 slash line. His numbers including today’s game is .280/.349/.541. The counting stats are way off since the playing time prediction was low. Sanchez did regress to a reasonable point. The prediction for Judge was way off, however.
