The Rangers and Adrian Beltre reached a deal on a two year contract extension worth $36 million. The Rangers will basically be paying him for 2.3 WAR seasons. The last time he had a season anywhere near that low was 2009. Of course, at his age, his career could be over sooner than later. All in all, however, it looks like a great deal for the Rangers.
