Blake Snell, a high strikeout, high walk pitcher makes his debut for the Tampa Bay Rays against Masahiro Tanaka and the Yankees. Snell blew away batter at AAA, striking out 78 in 58 innings.
Kenta Maeda gets a taste of Coors as the Dodgers battle the Rockies and Tyler Chatwood. Maeda allowed one run in three starts, but all three came in parks partial to pitchers. Chatwood allowed just two walks in 19 1/3 innings, but allowed 11 hits in his one start at Coors this year.
