Felix Hernandez takes on CC Sabathia as the Mariners try to take two in a row from the Yankees. Hernandez has been a bit wild this season, walking seven batters in 13 innings, but he hasn’t allowed a home run and only four hits. The walks have not hurt him as the King recorded three runs allowed, just one earned. Sabathia first start was just okay, three runs allowed in six innings. The four walks is a bad sign, and we’ll see if he can show more control in this game.
Max Scherzer takes on Aaron Nola as Washington plays the Phillies. Scherzer allowed two home runs so far, both solo shots. He also allowed a 3 for 8 with runners in scoring position, helping him to a 4.15 ERA. Nola showed great control so far in 2016. In fourteen innings he struck out 17 batters without issuing a walk.
