The Phillies beat the Padres 7-1 on Sunday, all seven Phillies run the result of six home runs. It would have been slightly cooler if their had been seven solo shots.
It’s part of blow-out Sunday, games decided by five runs or more. Of the games gone final, six of them were blowouts, the worst being the Astros 19-1 victory over the Blue Jays. There is one more blow out in progress, as the Rockies lead the White Sox 10-0 in the seventh, as Kyle Freeland is throwing a no-hitter, and just singled to drive in the tenth run. We’ll see how many more end big.
