In the fifth inning of the Astros game at the Blue Jays, Mike Fiers hit Jose Bautista with a pitch. Two batters later, he came up and in to Josh Donaldson, and Donaldson took exception to that. According to the radio broadcast, Donaldson glared at Fiers. Rather than charge the mound, however, Donaldson simply hit a three-run homer. The intimidation didn’t work, and Fiers paid for his tight pitching.
The Blue Jays beat the Astros 7-2.
