Zach Britton blew a save, his first since Oct. 1, 2015. He did not lose, as the blown save sent the game into extra innings. Manny Machado hit a walk-off home run in the 12th for an 8-7 Orioles win over the Athletics.
The streak was quite impressive. He saved 60 games in 90 appearances, finishing the game in 89 of those games. He did lose a game, giving up a run in a tie contest. He posted a 1.14 ERA, allowing just two home runs in 95 innings, striking out 95 and walking 30.
