Stephen Strasburg takes on Dallas Keuchel as the Nationals and Astros play the rubber game of their series. Strasburg, due to the expectations attached to him and his injury history is a bit underrated. Since he entered the league in 2010, Strasburg owns the highest K per 9 IP in the majors among pitchers with 1000 innings. The top of the list includes the best pitchers in the majors, and Strasburg holds his own with all of them. He is a great pitcher, but not a durable pitcher.
Keuchel may be the perfect pitcher for the Astros home field. Since he matured into a great pitcher in 2014, Keuchel is 28-11 at home in 50 starts, posting a 2.29 ERA. He allowed just 17 home runs, 0.44 per nine innings.
