The Braves beat the Phillies 5-3 Saturday afternoon to clinch the NL East title. It’s their second division championship this decade. The are good on both sides of the ball, second in the NL in runs scored per game and fifth in the league in lowest runs allowed per game. Their strength as a team lies in their power. They are very good at collecting extra base hits, especially doubles, and limiting extra base hits, especially home runs. Congratulations to the Braves on a great season with a young team!
