Blake Snell goes for his 21st win as the Rays take on the Blue Jays and Ryan Borucki. Snell trails Justin Verlander in Tom Tango Cy Young Tracker points, but leads him in season score. Borucki had a successful rookie campaign, allowing just five home runs and 26 walks in 84 innings.
Aaron Nola tries to make his Cy Young case against the Braves and Anibal Sanchez. The Phillies face playoff elimination with a loss or a Cardinals win. Nola pitched well against the Braves this season, not allowing a home run to Atlanta in 18 1/3 innings. Sanchez is just 1-4 at home this season despite a 3.10 ERA in Atlanta.
The Cubs try to shave down their magic number as Kyle Hendricks takes on the White Sox and Carlos Rodon. Hendricks is 0-2 with a 4.00 ERA against AL teams this season. Rodon makes just his second start against an NL team. He held the Cardinals scoreless for 7 1/3 innings earlier in the year.
