Red Sox Hit

The Red Sox defeat the Indians 6-2 in a late opening day game in Cleveland. Boston received offense where they needed it. Hanley Ramirez, working his way back from a poor 2015, singled twice and walked. Travis Shaw, replacing disappointing free agent Pablo Sandoval, singled twice (and struck out three times). Mookie Betts homered and singled. David Ortiz started his farewell tour with a double and a homer. Combine that with six strong innings by David Price, and game one for Boston goes as the team would script it.
