More on Martin

Leonys Martin went into the hospital last week, and now we know why:

Doctors determined Martin had a bacterial infection that entered his bloodstream and created toxins that damaged his internal organs, compromising their function.

I wish him a speedy recovery.

My mother came down with a blood infection the day of my daughter’s baptism (not to be confused with BABIPism). My wife and I are standing in the church, and my wife asks, “Where’s your family.” I half jokingly said, “Probably something happened to my mother.” She was in the hospital for two weeks in very serious condition.

Seems like there have been a spate of unusual illnesses lately.
