Mike Trout collected two singles Saturday night to stay on top of the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings. Alex Bregman collected two doubles in the same game, and 8-3 Astros win over the Angels. Bregman now trails Trout by two points. J.D. Martinez also doubled twice, collecting two of the five Boston hits in a 5-1 Tampa Bay victory. He is six points behind Trout. Justin Turner hit a walk-off double to go with a single in the Dodgers 5-4 win over the Padres. He takes over fourth place. Paul Goldschmidt ends Saturday in fifth place after collecting a single as the Diamondbacks fall to the Mariners 4-3.
