Walk Off FC

The Cubs and Brewers go to the bottom of the ninth in Milwaukee tied at three. The Brewers load the bases, bring player of the week Christian Yelich to the plate with one out. He just misses an upper deck grand slam, then hits a hard shot to Kris Bryant at third. Instead of throwing home, Bryant goes for the force at third and the throw to first. He needed too many steps to get to third, however, and Yelich beats the throw for the RBI and the Brewers win.

It was a close, well fought game on both sides, just what one wants in the heat of a pennant race. The Brewers gain a game on the Cubs in the division and widen their wild-card lead over the Cardinals.
