Cody Bellinger just became the first rookie in Dodgers history to hit for the cycle. He singled, homered, doubled, then got the tough one last with a triple in the seventh inning. He now has 16 doubles, 2 triples, and 26 home runs on the season, 44 extra-base hits out of his 72 total hits. The Dodgers lead the Marlins 7-0 in the bottom of the seventh as Alex Wood pitched six more strong innings.
Update: It was the fifth cycle of the season. That’s the most in a season since 2009, when the majors saw eight cycles.
