Double Seventh

I just got home and turned on the Fox game to see the Angels leading the Red Sox 9-1. They came up in the seventh, started hitting, and just kept the hits coming. As I started this post, they had scored nine runs to double their runs in the game, but a two-run homer just made the lead 20-1. No matter what the Red Sox pitchers throw, the Angels are putting the bat on the ball, and the balls are falling in. There have been two homers in the inning, but a number of singles were just dumped to the outfield.

As the Red Sox get the third out, the crowd gives them a sarcastic standing ovation. I’m guessing John Farrell doesn’t last much longer. The team looks lethargic.
