According to 93.7 The Fan in Atlanta, Sanchez appeared to grab his hamstring before falling to the turf. Medics attached an air cast to the 34-year-old’s leg and carted him off the field after the incident.
Sanchez had allowed two runs in 14 innings, striking out 14. There was little interest in him after he pitched poorly for three straight seasons, and the Braves were able to pick him up for $1 million.
