The American League wins the All-Star Game 4-2. The NL pitchers did not allow a hit over the last four innings, but the AL did enough damage early to hold on for the victory and home field advantage in the World Series. The early part of the game was good, but it slowed down after that. The NL built some threats, but could not deliver as they went 1 for 8 with runners in scoring position.
