The Red Sox extend their record in extra inning games by defeating the Orioles 1-0, the run scoring on a wild pitch in the top of the 11th inning. While their 15-3 record is good, it is not the best of the decade (minimum 10 EI games). The Orioles in 2012 went 16-2 for an .889 winning percentage in those close contests. So Baltimore knows both sides of this situation.
