Unusual Home Runs

The Phillies beat the Dodgers 4-3 Monday night, with two unusual home runs in the game. Chris Taylor led off the game with an inside-the-park home run. With the Dodgers up 2-0 in the sixth inning, Clayton Kershaw allowed the first grand slam of his career, Aaron Altherr taking him deep. In the regular season, Kershaw came into the game with a .193/.233/.250 opponents slash line with the bases loaded, striking out 34 of the 102 batters he faced. He had allowed five doubles and twelve singles.
