Reds Killer

Danny Espinosa just picked up his second hit of the game against the Reds, a grand slam, the second of the series. The Washington shortstop has six hits against the Reds this season, five of them home runs. He’s now 6 for 24 against Cincinnati this season, with 14 RBI. He’s not hitting the ball often, but he’s doing a lot of damage with those hits.

Washington leads Cincinnati 5-0 after four innings. Stephen Strasburg walked three, but has not allowed a hit in his return from the disabled list.

Update: Anthony Rendon leaps and snags a hard line drive off the bat of Billy Hamilton to start the fifth inning. If Strasburg should pitch a no-hitter, that will be the play that saved it.
