Record in Reach

The day off on Wednesday appeared to do Aaron Judge some good as he goes three for four with two home runs as the Yankees pound the Orioles 13-5. Judge drove in six runs to give him 96 RBI to go with the 43 home runs.

Judge now needs six more home runs in a little over two weeks to tie Mark McGwire‘s rookie record, and seven to break it. I estimate he as a 6.6% chance of hitting 50. Judge is hitting better in his last nine games, and the slump will have been worth it if the Yankees go into the playoffs with Judge hitting on all cylinders.
