Alex Bregman picked up another extra-base hit on Thursday to stay atop the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings. With his 30th double, he reached the 50 extra-base hit plateau. That ranks sixth in the majors, and the EXHB total figures heavily in the rest of this list. Jose Ramirez stands second, leading the majors with 55 EXBH. Mookie Betts is third in the ranking, and his 49 EXBH is right behind Bregman. Mike Trout is fourth. His 46 EXBH stands 11th, and fifth place Francisco Lindor is second to Ramirez in EXBH with 54. That’s quite a powerful infield for the Indians.
Bregman produce 63 EXBH last season, and has already equaled his 2017 total of 19 home runs.
