Half a Record

Matt Davidson homered in his fourth straight game for the White Sox as they beat Baltimore 5-2. The record for consecutive games with a home run is eight.

Davidson hit a solo homer in the fourth, his 14th home run this season. He became the first White Sox player to go deep in four straight games since Alex Rios in April 2013.

Davidson is an old rookie, having turned 26 years old in March. He slugged .410 in four AAA seasons, so don’t expect this home run power to last. Unless of course, it is the MLB ball.
