Ozzie Albies continues to hit for power, as he is three for four against the Cubs with a double and a home run through six innings. That gives him 20 hits on the season, 14 for extra bases. Batting mostly second, he scored 15 runs and drove in 11 in 14 games. He has three innings to add to that as the Braves lead 10-3.
Note that he has yet to draw a walk, so his value lies almost entirely in his power. That’s not a bad thing, but at some point opposing pitchers might get him to chase bad pitches more. Right now, he’s making a lot of contact outside the zone.
