Shohei Ohtani made a successful debut for the Angels Sunday afternoon, pitching six innings for the win as the Angels beat the Athletics 7-4. Ohtani walked one and struck out six, him lone mistake came in the form of a home run by Matt Chapman, the three run shot accounting for the runs against the rookie. The three hits in the second were the only three allowed, and a walk in the fourth was his only other base runner. Not a bad way to start a career.
