Conforto and Joy

Michael Conforto came off the disabled list to bat lead-off for the Mets and help them to an 8-2 victory over the Nationals. Conforto homered and walked, scoring two runs and driving in two from the top of the order. His shot in the fifth broke a 2-2 tie, and would be all the Mets would need. He now has three career hits against Stephen Strasburg, and two of them are homers. The Mets have scored at least six runs in half of their games so far, and sit atop the NL East.
