Miles Mikolas made his return to the majors on Monday with a barrage of home runs. The Cardinals pitcher allowed four runs on three home runs through 5 2/3 innings to the Brewers. He hit a two-run shot, however, the first hit of his career, and got plenty of support from the rest of the offense as the Cardinals and Mikolas win 8-4. Apart from the home runs, Mikolas pitched well, walking none while striking out five. He last pitched in the majors in 2014.
Paul DeJong collected three hits, including a three-run homer, and is hitting .467 on the season.
