The Pirates appear to have a new ace. Jameson Taillon pitched a one-hit shutout against the Reds Sunday afternoon as Pittsburgh wins 5-0. Taillon walked two and struck out seven in the effort. The only hit came off the bat of opposing starting pitcher, Tyler Mahle, which should really embarrass the rest of the Reds hitters. After two starts, Taillon’s ERA stands at 1.26, and his opposition batting average at .106.
