Miles Mikolas continues to be the feel good story of 2018. The Cardinals starting pitcher tossed another nice game Thursday afternoon, allowing two runs, one earned, in seven innings to lower his ERA to 2.75. He walked two batters, bring his walk total for the season to 25 batters in 137 1/3 innings. In his first life in baseball he walked 34 batters in 91 1/3 innings. That improvement makes him one of the top pitchers in the National League.
The Cardinals beat the Rockies 3-2.
