The Twins visit Cleveland for a four-game series, trailing the Indians by nine games. Kyle Gibson takes on Trevor Bauer in game one. Gibson is very good at limiting hits, holding opponents to a .224 BA, but a high number of walks leads to a .301 OBP allowed. Bauer is on shy of his strikeout total from last season in 23 fewer innings, and needs just five more to reach the 200 K mark for the first time in his career.
The Astros continue their swing through the NL West as they head for San Francisco. Charlie Morton faces Dereck Rodriguez. Morton owns a 2.12 ERA in three starts against National League teams this season. Rodriguez comes off a July in which he posted a 1.86 ERA. He allowed just one home run in 29 inning last month.
