The Rockies won a slugfest in Colorado against the Giants and take over first place in the NL West as both the Dodgers and Diamondbacks lose. One an a half games separate the three teams, and the probability of a three-way tie for the NL West remains at about 1.3-1.4%. The most likely finish for a tie would be 88-74. We’ll see if the jockeying for position continues, or if one of the three starts to run away with the race. The NL Wild Card race is looking wild also, but I’ll give it a few more days to see if things settle.
