Mets on Fire

The Mets scored five runs Saturday night to beat the Diamondbacks 5-1. They are scoring well in Arizona, with 11 runs in their last three games. They have now scored 1.92 runs per game in June, which would rank sixth worst runs/game in a month (min 10 games) since the start of division play in 1961. When they get up to 20 games, I’ll raise the bar to that, since a lot of the low scoring months happened in April when the season didn’t start until the middle of the month. The Mets need to score at least three runs today to reach two per game for the June.
