The Red Sox make their way to the Twin Cities as Chris Sale takes on Jose Berrios. This will be Sale’s tenth road start of the season, where he is 4-2 with a 2.56 ERA. He’s shown extremely good control away, striking out 80 and walking just 14 in 59 2/3 innings. Berrios, too, shows great control, with 91 K and just 15 walks in 89 2/3 innings. All the swings and misses should keep the Minnesota fans cool!
Blake Snell and the Rays try to stop the Astros 12-game winning streak. Justin Verlander tries to keep it going. Snell allowed eight of his 11 home runs on the road, where he owns a 3.78 ERA. His ERA is just 0.96 in Tampa Bay this season. Verlander is in a bit of a slump, having allowed a 3.79 ERA in 19 June innings.
