Masahiro Tanaka posted a -11 game score for his short outing in the Astros-Yankees game. Charlie Morton is pitching a great game. An email from a friend made me wonder what as the biggest difference between game scores in a game. I looked back to 1969, the start of division play, and in that time, the biggest difference was 104 in this game between the Yankees and the Oakland Athletics in 1998. If Morton throws a one-hit shutout, he’s got a shot at this.
