Runs on the Road

The Rockies beat the Reds 6-4 Sunday afternoon to extend their road record to 15-7. They’ve now scored 100 runs on the road in 22 games, 4.5 runs per game. That’s an improvement over last season when the Rockies managed 4.2 runs per game on the road. They are scoring 5.4 runs per game at home.

They are also pitching better on the road. They own a 3.56 ERA away, compared to 4.40 in 2016, when they went 33-48. That road turnaround propelled them into first place.
