The Halo Part of the Lineup

The first five batters in the Angels starting lineup pounded the Mets on Sunday as LAnaheim beats New York 12-5. The group collected eight hits, scored eleven runs, drove in 12, hit four home runs, hit three doubles, and drew four walks. C.J. Cron in a way had the best and the worst day. He only collected one hit, but it was a grand slam in the first inning that set the stage for the blowout.

It was an unusual performance for the Angels, as despite employing Mike Trout, they came into the day with a .370 slugging percentage, second lowest in the American League.
