While Mike Trout remains atop the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings, there was movement in the top five. An 0 for 5 for Mookie Betts and a 1 for 5 for J.D. Martinez drop them out of the very top of the list, while a three for five game for Tommy Pham and a two-homer game for Manny Machado give them the four and five slots. Jose Ramirez remains second and narrowed the gap with Trout as Ramirez went two for five with a home run in Cleveland’s loss, and Francisco Lindor stands third with a decent night at the plate as well.
Didi Gregorious remains cold and is dropping like a stone, ranking 50th now.
