Oakland sends ace Sean Manaea against the Blue Jays and Sam Gaviglio. Manaea is exhibiting great control and a lower strikeout rate without getting hit around. He allowed a .186 BA and a .228 OBP so far. He does give up home runs, but with no one on base they do little damage. Gaviglio makes his first start of the season after two relief appearances. He struck out six and walked one in his first 4 1/3 innings of work.
Cleveland and Houston offer another great pitching match-up as Corey Kluber takes on Dallas Keuchel. Both Kluber losses came on the road this season, where he is 2-2 in five starts with a 2.86 ERA. In three of those five starts, the Indians scored two runs or less. Keuchel usually pitches better at home, but he allowed five of his eight home runs in Houston this year, despite pitching six more innings away.
