Toronto tries to continue their climb out of last place in the AL East as they face the Rays. Marco Estrada takes on Jake Odorizzi. Estrada is Mr. No Decision this year, as in six well pitched starts he owns a 1-1 record. He struck out 38 batters in 37 innings with just 10 walks. He is throwing the curve ball less, and that seems to have helped his ERA. Odorizzi is pitching well, but suffered from the long ball this season, giving up four home runs in 18 innings.
Matt Garza battles Gerritt Cole in the close NL Central as the Brewers visit the Pirates. The Pirates are in last place, but just three games behind the first-place Cubs. Garza started the season late due to an injury, but pitched worse than his 3.38 ERA so far, as three of his seven runs allowed were unearned. Cole allowed six home runs in 36 innings after allowing seven in 116 innings in 2016.
