Starting Pitcher Follow-up

Yesterday seemed like a very good day for starting pitchers, with a number flirting with no-hitters, and others simply giving up few runs. While it was not historically great, Sunday did come in as the best day of the season for starting pitcher ERA with a full slate of games (at least 15). Starters combined for a 2.92 ERA on Sunday. That beat the 3.03 ERA of May 1st by quite a bit. Even if one lowers the qualification to 10 games in a day, May 6 still ranks as the best day of the season.
